- Spraying or misting with water is not necessary with our concrete curb.
- Caution must be taken when working around the new curb for a 24hr period. Shovels/wheelbarrow can nick and mark the curb until the curb is fully “cured”.
- Keep children/pets away from curb for first 24hours. You will be able to walk on it (if
necessary after 48 hrs).
- Water can damage the curb within first 24hrs . Do not have irrigation systems on or water within the 24 hr period.
- Hard water can cause “efflorescence”, which is a white powder substance. It is best to have your sprinkler heads turn away from the curbs as to minimize the amount of water on them as possible. Efflorescence can be removed by lightly brushing a mixture of vinegar and water (50/50) . You may need to repeat this a few times but eventually it will disappear.
- When colored concrete is used you may see a “splotchy” appearance but this will go away as the curb cures.
Enjoy your curb for years to come! |
